Under my bedThere is something growing under my bed It is big and red, It started out small And then it got tallUnder my bed
It can take a lot of shapes Even my mom’s drapes It smells like an elephant’s butt And it looks like my brother’s gut
It is very creepy
And I think it’s looking at me I hope it goes away Before my uncle comes to stay
I’m not sure what is under there But I think it has a lot of hair I know what it is
It’s my dead lizard named Frizz

when the pencil presses down I am mad
when it draws lightly I am sad
when the eraser is used things are forgotten but it leaves a scar to remind me it was there
color pencils bring joy to my life
and brightens up my day but there are some times when it goes away
and other times it will not rub off
but when another doodle comes to stay
I am not lonely any more
and I have a friend that will not be forgott
